Jeff Bridges

Bridges was born into an acting family and began appearing on screen as a child, quickly establishing himself as one of the most respected and versatile young dramatic actors of the 1970s.

He played both hacker Kevin Flynn and his glowing digital double Clu — the first major film role built entirely around a character being pulled physically inside a computer. Already an Academy Award-nominated actor from a string of 1970s dramas, he took on a role built around then-cutting-edge visual effects.

He returned to the role decades later in the franchise's belated sequel, and went on to win an Academy Award of his own for an entirely different kind of role later in his career.
