Gwyneth Paltrow

Paltrow began acting as a teenager with family connections to the industry before building an acclaimed career through the 1990s that culminated in a Best Actress Academy Award while still in her twenties.

She played investigative reporter Polly Perkins, sparring with Jude Law's Sky Captain across a Manhattan under attack from giant robots that existed only as digital backgrounds during filming. She took on one of the earliest major studio roles shot almost entirely against blue screen.

She has continued acting alongside building a separate career as an entrepreneur in later years, a business pursuit that has come to occupy much of her public profile.
