Melody Anderson

Played Dale Arden, Flash Gordon's quick-thinking love interest and co-adventurer across the warring kingdoms of Mongo. A Canadian actress relatively early in her career at the time, she went on to a substantial career in American television throughout the 1980s, including a lead role in the series Manimal. The role remains one of her most widely recognized film performances.
