Alan Arkin

The veteran character actor brought gruff warmth to Peevy, Cliff Secord's mechanic and the closest thing The Rocketeer has to a conscience. Already an Academy Award nominee multiple times over by the time of this role, he was known for finding humane, grounded warmth in supporting characters across a wide range of genres. He later won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Little Miss Sunshine.
